About

Hey There! I am a child of the King, a Dakota farmer’s wife, and full time health and fitness coach. I have a background in architectural drafting, interior design, and estimating, but now I am a full time farm wife. I was able to retire from the corporate world and do what I do best. Inspire, lead through fitness, and help on the farm! I truly am living my dream.

In the fall of 2014, at the age of 23, I was diagnosed with Rheumatoid Arthritis. I remember thinking that my life as I knew it, was over. I was devastated. Sitting in waiting rooms with people twice my age isn’t exactly what I wanted. Luckily, my husband was there every step of the way. It took awhile to find a good doctor, one who understood my needs. I was eventually put on medication in December of 2016. The medication for autoimmune disease is basically a low dosage of cancer medication. The side effects are scary. But every day since I was diagnosed I was determined to be a FIGHTER. I am just to thankful that I had someone there beside to remind me of why I was fighting. Sometimes, God leads you through a dark time to bring a big light into your life. My diagnoses ultimately led to the birth of The Fit Farmer’s Wife!

My husband and I have known each other since kindergarten, and grew up going to our small town elementary and high school together, but we didn’t start dating until after high school.

Being an only child and a farmer’s daughter, never did I imagine settling down and marrying a farmer and staying in my home state of North Dakota! But honestly, I couldn’t have asked for anything better. I love everything about the farm life and cattle. I love being the wife and help-mate of a hard-working, farmin’ man. There is nothing that I love more than making homecooked meals in our kitchen on prairie. I love being able to have a huge garden in the summer and have 400 head of cattle in my backyard in the winter!
